Change In Mailbox, Parcel Policy?
The Postal Service in the Greater Boston District has effected a policy relative to the delivery of packages placed in customers mailboxes that do not have USPS postage affixed.
This policy is in violation of various current postal regulations and handbooks.
If this change in policy has been placed into effect in your office, you should follow your instructions and request to see your Steward.
As the NALC and USPS are currently engaged in discussions regarding this directive at the national level, Stewards should contact the Branch office for additional guidance.
