Fort Point Letter Carrier Joe Carrillo reaches 50-Year Branch Membership Milestone.

Recently, I had the distinct privilege of presenting a 50-year Life Membership “Gold Card” to Active Member Joseph Carrillo of our Fort Point Station. 

Joe has been a member in good standing of Boston, Branch #34 since November 4, 1967!  To put that into a little perspective, the cost of a First Class postage stamp at the time was five-cents ($0.05). 

While Branch #34 currently has over 200 Gold Card Members  in our ranks, it is extremely rare for a Member to attain such status as an Active City Letter Carrier.   On behalf of the Members;  Congratulation’s Joe on this extraordinary achievement.
