Today Is National Postal Worker Day!
In 1997 a Seattle-area postal carrier established National Postal Worker Day to honor fellow employees. And since then it is celebrated every year on July 1st, Nationally and Internationally. There are approximately 490,000 postal workers in the United States, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, with transporting COVID-19 testing kits, distributing sanitizers, and other necessary supplies it shows our continuing importance, each and every one of us, that are in service to our country, and communities we serve.
