As has historically been the case, many of Branch #34’s longest-serving Members chose to hang up the bag and enter retired life as the year 2017 came to a end.

I was informed late Friday that our Back Bay office would not be undergoing mail count and route inspection on Monday as scheduled.  While this would normally be greeted by the Branch with great delight, as usual I was again left with a sour taste in my mouth.

Recently, I had the distinct privilege of presenting a 50-year Life Membership “Gold Card” to Active Member Joseph Carrillo of our Fort Point Station.
